The Jerusalem Folklore Ensemble was founded in 1956 in Jerusalem by students of the Hebrew University, the Rubin Music Academy and Bezalel School of Arts. In a short time The Jerusalem Folklore Ensemble became one of Israel's leading Folklore groups. The Jerusalem Folklore Ensemble is a voluntary nonprofit organization.
